Were do you place the temp/humidity probe. Top of canopy ???

That makes sense to me. I don’t have a controller but have always hung my temp/humidity gauge so it is near the top of the canopy.

same here. No controller but I hang my gauge just above the plants.

I do throw another gauge in the bottom of the tent just to get a feel down there too

Does your tent have an internal fan circulating the air? If so, sensor location is not critical.

If not, it is hotter at the top, with highest humidity near the bottom, so the sensors should ostensibly be located at the level where the plants are to be most accurate.

Yes it does. Every leaf should be shaking to avoid PM.

I always keep four fans in my grow room pointed to where they get a vortex spin. Keeps the air moving really well. Never had to deal with PM. Only had that in outdoor grows, and then only once during a fall Michigan monsoon. Got some bud rot, too.
