i want to add light to my area, i have a 400 hps and wanted to know what lighitn can i use either cfl or t5 or hid for flowring

The answer is D, all of the above, but assuming you have enough lumens already your HPS is the best.

I use t5's from start to finish. I have four, four foot t'5 and two 40 cfls for side light. I am in week number 8 of flowering and have some really nice buds and hope they finish soon! Two white widows and two bag seeds. It depends on how many plants your are growing.

I think the problem is CFL or any floro bulbs must be inches from the plant and when using them with a HPS it just blocks the light.

If you add them just put some around as side lighting.
