Fan Question

Can anyone explain or redirect me to somewhere that explains how to hook up an 80mm cpu cooling fan to use as my intake and exhaust fans?

If anyone needs pictures just let me know.

if they're the computer fans i'm thinking of, and you're gonna push/pull air any kind of distance, you may want to try something bigger like a squirrel cage/blower type or an inline duct fan
i have tried the smaller stuff and it just doesn't get it done

well the box is only 32" x 19.5" x 18.5" so not alot of air needs to be moved at all

I'm just wondering how to hook up those CPU fans since they have the CPU plugs?

i think you have to cut off the plugs and hard wire them to your electric, but i'm not sure... hopefully someone else can help out

Is it an AC or DC fan? Check the fan tag and see what it requires.

I finally got it, thanks guys.

I ended up just taking 2 old cell phone chargers and spliced the wires to the fans, works like a charm.
