Fresh air question

my grow is in my basement im wondering if there is enough fresh air from the daily opening of the doors, or do i need a dedicated duct coming from outside and if so what about cold weather. Probably just overprotective here but i know air is the most important overlooked aspect of indoor grows. Thanx guys

thing is i have probably a 1200 sq ft basement, my grow is only 4' x 10' x 8' tall. i could tap into the house thing is house gets as much fresh air as basement, no forced air heat or ac just radiant heat. We open windows and such when its warm but i just got blasted with like 8" of snow so windows not open as much i have a vent and fan running in grow now just want to be sure they are ok, i know i wouldnt pass out from lack of oxygen if i was locked in there, but dont know about co2.
