is it possible to 'top' the plant a few nodes from the top of the plant, then re-plant the 'topped' piece to grow another plant.if so,what would be the best method ?,also the plant thats to be 'topped' is belong to a mate who did'nt really take care of it and the plant is dying big time,so we can snip the 'top' cutting to any lenght and not worry about the health of the origional plant.

yeah could work if the stem is supple enough to re root, just do it like ya taking a clones dont just cut it an stick in into some soil cozz it prolly wont work if ya do it that way but yeah no harm in trying good luck bud

Well the chances of a clone making it really depend on the health of the mother plant. In this case it does not sound good considering you said it was dying. If you still want to try it, go look in the "propogation" section under "clones" just follow the steps should work out for ya if the mother plant isnt too far gone.
