Halogen Lights??

Hey guys .. iwas wondering is Halogen lights work to grow? they look like hps but with a very small long bulb that looks like a pen, they are similar to parking and malls lights.. i found them 150W, 300W, 500W

Thank you guys.. i was at carefour and i was just to buy one to try it but then i thought i should ask you first guys before i do any thing.. they are very cheap 300w = 6$

Hell. If you could cool them, they might not be a bad idea as supplimental light for flowering. Halogens have pretty good penetration, IIRC.
