hey i ve got some ladies flowering into week 3
buds are formed, pretty small about the size of a marble (sorry no pics)

Well today i stepped into the room, and noticed it was MAJORLY hot.
30+! degrees c
Majority of plants pistils have turned orange (buds are only week 3)

Problem was my outtake exhaust fan tube slipped out of socket.
Thus increasing room temp for about a day.

my question is
will my buds still mature and grow big?
or did i pretty much kill my babies?

:(

thanks in advance

i think you are ok, dont let it happen again. keep them at a stedy temp if you can. Give them water, and they will heal and grow.
The color of the pistils dont determine its maturity, the color of the Tricomes does.

If it got really hot, the leaves should be sagging, and look like crap. cool the temp down, and give it water...they will perk back up.

yah it got to about 35-40 probabaly degrees celcius :S
SUPER HOT! i couldnt even be in the room very long, so i knew immediately something was wrong
check see the damn vent tube off
i powerdrilled some nuts * good thing to remember noobs*
sigh
the intense heat made their pistils all yellow
does this stunt my growth?
hopefully it will make new growth like you say

it was only a day or two
but the pistils worry me!

leaves are fine roots stable
just the early pistils
bugging me the freak out!

thanks for the quick reply!
:)
