Popcorn buds.

I want to know if anyone else plucks off those little buds some call popcorn buds, and if it helps the other outside buds grow bigger? My main reason for plucking off these popcorn buds is to get more air flow to center of my plants to keep powdery-milldew at bay in the greenhouse.

Remove the foliage down the center of the plant, leave the buds.
