its a genetic trait...some it is dominant some not.

just a color designed to pull more energy from the suns diminishing light pattern in fall.

there are tons of strains that normally dont purple that will if you really cool them down at the finish.

I don't understand this fascination with purples. I have also found them to be average at best. IMHO, mature smokers look for the type strain that has the best qualities for what ails them, not something that "looks pretty".

Be carefull with Curb appeal,,can be very deceiving. Some of the best Weed Ive smoked wasnt all that pretty.
