Can anyone tell me what the optimum light for general growing is...just overall average )including veg, bloom,etc....I'm just looking for one average number...) I don't care whether the answer is in Lumens, LUX, Footcandles or whatever. Any help would be appreciated....I can't seem to find a straight answer.

Thx,
Cam

Cam, it's 5,000 lumens per square foot of growing space.

10-4, I replied.

Hey, here is a link of a website the has all the different types of lights. If you spend some time looking and comparing CFL, MH, and HPS watt and lumen ratings, you'll be able to determine which wattage is right for your grow area.

Don't cheat on your light! Less lumens per sq ft = less full growth and result. You'll find HPS is the best thing for your grow from start to finish as it's most $ efficient, and best all around for veg and flower.
