I have just harvest my trainwreck and it is about 3 days in and it smells very green.I checked the tric. and they all told me they were ready.:hubba: Nice amber color...Any idea why it smells so green. My harvest before smelt like buds are supose to smell like....not sure whats going on....:)

The chlorophyll hasnt degraded yet....so it will smell like grass clippings until you start curing and sweating the buds, then the smell will come back. look on my signature for curing methods. I hang dry for a few days till the outside is a lil crispy and stems almost snap but bend a lil. i then brown paper bag them for another week or two slow drying them depending on density. then i throw them into glass jars where they "sweat" for another 4 weeks plus. burping daily until the moisture has evaperated off enoough you can cold store until use (by this time, ...if not already smoked!).
