when to change solutions?

I have heard that the only stupid question is the one not asked .... that being said i am wondering exactly when i should change from grow solution to flowering solution. i know the answer seems obvious but i tend to overthink things. should i change it as soon as i change the light cycle or give the plants a few days to start changing or slowly change solutions or????... .i appreciate all your help and time. thanks.

When a plant gets moved from veg to flower, it gets flower nutes.

i like to hit my plants with a flower nutrient 1 week before veg ends and a veg nutrient 1 week into flower just for the green of it
