yellowing buds

so i'm budding my plant and the topd are yellow is this normal or am i doing something wrong, they are on a 12/12 under a hps light

We need a picture to diagnose your problem correctly. I can't really tell you what the problem is. It doesn't sound good though. Keep us posted. Take care and be safe.

Maybe too close? Light should be 7in-12in from top of plant. As long as you don't feel heat coming from the bulb on your hand when held right over tops of plants your ok with that. Try that
