BUDS are looking much better this 5th week of flowering; since adding 2nd light. I will update with pictures this weekend. CC

A big NO-NO has occured.. my bad. It happens.

Yea, 'out of control' plants are difficult to deal with ssjric, flowering under floros seems like the best option at this point, thanks. Droopy Dog, why would one choose a mixed spectrum.? Because it prevents less stretch and thicker stems?(This is my opinion based on limited research)

To trim/cut.., or not to trim/cut.? That is the question.

Mokey1 space between them sounds good, i'll do what I can to space them out a bit more; they have stopped growing vertically for the most part. zem, with your advice, and the many others, I did not trim off any of the branches or leaves. I instead have decided on using all lower branches and...

A big NO-NO has occured.. my bad. It happens.

Thanks Greenhead for your input. I do agree HPS is the way to go, but like I mentioned above, my current HPS area is completely filled; it's either flower with floros, let them grow too tall to handle indoors, or watch them whither away. I plan to throw them under HPS as soon as space becomes...

A big NO-NO has occured.. my bad. It happens.

Ok. So I did a big no-no; I began growing before the 'new' room was ready. Because of this, I have a backlog of plants, so I am considering flowering with 4' HO floros; no more room in HPS area. Heres the question.? Since I have an 8-bulb unit, is it best to get 8 bloom tubes of 3k? Or use 4...

To trim/cut.., or not to trim/cut.? That is the question.

Thanks Amateur Grower. My next grow will be handled much better; height wise at the very least.

To trim/cut.., or not to trim/cut.? That is the question.

Thanks clanchattan and tesla for your comments. I agree trimming may not be the best thing, but I am still considering cutting the spindly lower branches. Most of the leaves are green, but a couple plants have browning edges, and are elongated and sagging all the time. Heres a few pictures..

To trim/cut.., or not to trim/cut.? That is the question.

Hey! So I am 22 days into flowering and wondering what to do about all the extra and spindly leaf growth. The mistake first began when I started growing before completely finishing the grow room. I did not top or train, so by the time I started flowering, I was dealing with 6' plants. To help...

Oops! One too many females; so now 1200 watts of power!

The flowering space in the room is 8ft x 5.5ft x 10ft (LxWxH). I am currently using a NextGen 400w/600w ballast (600w feature), LumenAir 6 air-cooled reflector (25"x17.75"x8.5"), and EYE Hortilux HPS bulb. Two walls are painted flat white, while the other two are covered from top to bottom with...

To save money, less detection during the day, or something else.?

Yea legalize_freedom, it's a tuff way to make an 'easy' living. zem, I only play in 'real' casinos, so I would not be able to recommend any online sites. As for the brick and mortar poker rooms; Venetian, Bellagio, Plant Hollywood, and the Stratosphere. Yes that's right, lol, the Stratosphere is...

To save money, less detection during the day, or something else.?

I agree legalize_freedom, thanks for your tips. Although I am home during the day, I am a poker player, so I play at night, the less people that know, the better off I am.

To save money, less detection during the day, or something else.?

gumby, Thanks for your reply. Makes sense to leave them for 24 hours in darkness before switching to new light cycle. As for the smoke detector, got that covered; my flowering room was originally a bedroom, so it already came equipped with one. Thanks again for your input.

To save money, less detection during the day, or something else.?

So whats the deal with switching flowering times by 12 hours? For instance, I am currently on a 7am-7pm light cycle, but after further research, and other reasons, I want to switch the lights on to 7pm-7am, what's the best way to do this? And also, if possible, I am open to other reasons why one...

Male or Female.? Assurance needed please.

So good news! I think I have finally 'chopped' down all the males in my garden. After giving my plants a few more days of light, I was able to visually see two white pistills coming from the top portions of the plants; closest to the lights of course. Thanks to all who helped me through this...
