I'm still working my way toward 15 posts, but here's another one I ran across.
google for:
"A chemotaxonomic analysis of cannabinoid variation in Cannabis"
I haven't squeezed much out of this one yet, but it's interesting to note that this study supports the taxonomic differentiation...
I browsed across this. I'm still under 15 posts, so no link, but the .pdf can be googled by the title:
"The Inheritance of Chemical Phenotype in Cannabis sativa"
It's real heavy on the scientific jargon (it is a research article), but I slogged through with the help of a genetics textbook.
Yup Yup. Now I'm seeing the discussions I'm looking for.
Clarke's book is the most informative and sound available on the net -- reading it is what got me insterested in breeding MJ. Why breed it? Because it is hard.
Are you guys breeding for any specific traits?
Heya all.
I'm a professional guy down South starting a new hobby since it's too damn hot to tend the lawn.
I'm mostly interested in the genetics and heredity of MJ. I would breed roses but I consider smoking all my pretty ones rather that watching them die.
(we are brief candles all)...
I'm starting a new hobby and I'm looking for some genetic info, which turns out to be very sparse.
Anyone know if there's a list of MJ traits that are known to be dominant or recessive? Or traits known to be carried on the X or Y chromosomes?
