Your plants are looking pretty good. It doesn't really look like you need any pointers. Everyone has different ways of growing and different ways that work best for them. What might be ideal for me may not be best for you.
You can get 125w CFLs for your vegg cycle. They cost a little bit of money, about $100 each, but they throw out a lot of light. (An you'd be using less electricity.) I have 2 of them. If you're growing in the attic, is there a way for you to vent some heat? With the higher watt HPS setups, you...
I tried using CFL's for flowering, but I wasn't getting much out of my crops with it. I use a 600w HPS. They run pretty hot. It all makes sense now. Thanks for the help. Next time I will turn off the lights first.
I sprayed until it was dripping off the leaves, like it said. They're only in week 3 of flowering. I think they're doing better today. I see new hairs coming out, so I guess it's healing itself. I got pretty nervous for awhile, though.
Sorry, no pics. I have no idea why the hairs got burned. None of the leaves were affected. Maybe I oversprayed them. How much do you spray them? I just hope they can recover. They've been doing so well. The best crop I've had yet.
What type of flouros do you have over your seedling? How many lumens? In my experience, topped plants don't tend to grow quite as tall. I had some plants that I put into flowering at 5" tall, and they got to be 6' tall. Don't ask me how that happened. But they weren't topped. The more light...
I sprayed my plants with an organic spray, but I accientally sprayed a little bit of the buds. Now the tips of some of the hairs are burned. Is my crop ruined, or will they recover?
I am having a problem with white flies. They are suddenly on my plants and I don't know why. I haven't brought anything new into their room. My main concern is getting rid of them. I was considering the organic spray recipe in the troubleshooting guide, but I have a few questions. Will any...
If you put your fingers around the top of the plant (about 6 inches down) it would be about the size of a silver dollar. Individual spears are about as big around as a nickel. They are not very thick. The main stem is a little smaller than a dime. The plants are about 4-6 feet tall.
I start off my plants in a 4x4 box with 2 125 watt compact flouros with reflectors. I then move them into a 2x5 closet with a 600 watt hps setup for flowering. I used to use flouros for all stages but now notice a dramatic change in size and quality of finished product. It all cost me an arm...
