Most strains mature in 2 months. It sounds like propaganda to me; "Before we could cut the plant and destroy it, but this plant will come back to life unless it's taken out by the roots." I just don't see it.

My guess would be the air resistance in the tube is more than your fan is pushing/pulling. If you really want to move some air get a bigger inline fan, make or buy a reducer and really push/pull it from one end of the tube or the other.

I've never used anything like it but would probably lean towards CFLs and the likes, fine for veg but you'll probably want more for flower.
