    Budding?This early?

Our grows are a lot alike. I cant wait for my plants to start flowering like yours. I've got about 6 plants that look exactly or maybe a bit more sativa-like than yours but they are only showing preflowers presently. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Good luck man

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

Went to check today after over a week. They are recovering from the nute burn and/or magnesium deficiency. I mixed up some epsom salt water at a tablespoon per gallon to give em once the soil dries out from all this rain. Its been raining a good bit this last week and the soil is still very...

    Yellowing

good point but its a little late to be changing the soil. And I dont think I have enough time to start a compost heap in time for these plants. Thanks for the tips and I will for sure put them to use next spring.

    Yellowing

Thanks. Any particular brand of ferts you recommend that you think would help my plants? I knew about the 10 day average for feeding, but I over did the frequency. I built them up starting at a teaspoon per gallon of water once they were 6 weeks old. Now we're looking at 4 teaspoons, 2...

    Yellowing

but like I said I am giving them 6.3 N twice a week. Are you saying it matters if the other numbers are higher? I thought as long as the elements are there its all good. Do I need to use different fertilizers even if the ones I'm using are 5 and 12 on the N coefficient?

    Yellowing

thanks you two so even the 2/3 combined 17 (5+12)= 6.3 N coefficient is not enough twice a week? This deficiency would cause the the brown tips too?

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

gettin some yellowing. Finally got some pics. Is it over/under ferts(N i'm guessing), too much water, or too much heat? Its been over 95 for the last two weeks, hasnt rained in 5 weeks and the heat index was 108 the other day. You can see what the heat did to my rye grass The ph is between...

    Thai Super Skunk

Same exact thing here mane. No rain for over 4 weeks here though dude. I currently take 3 gallon jugs everytime I go to my plot. Two for the plants and one for my take on FlyingNatural's water drip system. That thing is taking a long time to get full. I go twice a week now that the temps are...

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

Got some more pics. They are starting to show themselves to be different strains and I have at least 3 now. 4 of them smell really skunky, 4 are more of sweet smell, and 2 don't really have a noticable smell. The one I topped, pics #3 and 9 has some pink stems as well, who knows. The sun is...

    Green Cloud

I hear ya on that rain. Mine must have thought I was low stress training them since they were horizontal after our storms in May. Sorry some got damaged. I hope they go back to rooting for you. Thanks for the pics of your watering system. I'm guessing the clear blue water jug is your...

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

Oh i see. The way i've been doing it is I fill up a gallon jug, the one in the pic. I water every 3-5 days, depending on the weather, and I fertilize every ten days, which is usually every other or every other other time I see em. I went today and they were looking real nice. They got a...

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

So you're saying your ferts are on a constant drip too? I'm liking this idea and I need to build mine. It's been gettin really dry for over 2 weeks and then pouring all day long. Do you think two reservoirs are necessary or since I can get to my plot at least once a week could I add my nutes...

    is this ready to harvest?

From what I've learned nobody can tell you when to harvest by looking at regular pictures. I'm sure they could if you got a macro shot of your trichomes though, or you could get a magnifying glass and check. from dj short: "highly recommend that the serious cannabis student acquire a 30X...

a few questions from a first time central mississippi grower

well I'm really not at all worried about the deer because I already put up a 5' fence. I'm only worried about the things fences can't keep out, like bugs and diseases. Thanks for the tip though man, with all these sativas and me on the 32 parallel I just might have to be taking my fence down...
