i can serve life for one plant in my location as it stands.

How many plants can you grow with?

100? no way. if you're talking about growing from mid vegitation stage to ending, you absolutly couldn't grow 100 plants under a 400w light. after they pop out of the ground/clone you don't need anything but florecents. if your finishing lighting will be a 400w, I'd go with 4-8, anymore...

How many plants can you grow with?

I've always used 600w but I would say, sufficiently you could grow 4 - 6, you could grow 8 but I wouldn't because of the confined space of lighting.

One big grow, or several small grows for the year?

I'd say, spread them out. too many is too much of a risk, although it all can lead to jail time. they will look at more plants, and love to raid a big crop, getting publicity for them etc. I'd say smaller crops in intervals.

    PH & Nutrient Charts

I had a friend, also a grower, tell me that he doesn't even check his nutes. he can tell by the color of the water. I suppose it's just experience, but I don't have $200 now for a ph tester. is there any other way I could check nutes in a reservoir?
