180w jumbo ufo grow(in progress)

The gear I'm using is 1- 180 watt 5 band ufo-2 bands of blue, 2 bands of red, and a band of infrared.The 5 heavily flowering plants are blueberry, 2 Nightshades, Blue Hash, Cali Hash.The blueberry and Nightshade are 45 days in, the BH, CH, and 1 Nightshade are 35 days in.Also in this 4x4 tent are 28 clones- of the aforementioned 5 flowering plants-the clones are in their first week.FFOF potting soil-22 clones, verm/perlite-6 clones in bubbly reservoir.

thank you.Right now I'm pure led-I'm testing this unit for prosource, and after they saw my other led journals, they were kind enough to give this to me, as long as I post a few journals.I've done the led/hps combo-very nice indeed.Theres a million horticultural uses for these lights.And this 180 is the BEST unit I've used to date.And I couldnt beat the price if I tried.

come winter, I'm thinking about a 180/250 hps combo-I cant see anything but good stuff happening Actually,I dont like to speak too soon, depending on how this unit handles my little clone army, I may just try to get a healthy discount on another 180, cant expect another one for nothing...would be nice tho-Prosource are you listening?

actually they (prosource) has a infrared flower accellerator-the unit is 90 watts, and brings into play the emerson effect,or Martian effect-particularly in the lower canopy.I havent used it, but reports coming in have been positive.Some folks might have a problem paying 300US for an invisible grow light.Ya sorta have to take a leap of faith with this new tek.

that clone-from the army, is 7 days into 12/12- I think these clones are going to grow into nice single stemmers.The lst'd plant-(big gang) was put under 12/12 2 days ago.I'm going to bend that one up all funky.The larger plants in the back right corner are big bangs as well.They started slow but really kicked in a week ago.

this one ufo is outperforming a grow I did with 400 watts of fleabay ufo's-like as in no comparison.

still got my little hps grows goin too-this is a 2x2 tent, with 6 Big Bangs in gallon pots of ffof+ extra perlite, and dolomite lime.150w hps, 48w T-5(side lighting)

and thank god for the hps grow-heres the led harvest tally- blue hash-5 grams/blueberry-5 grams/ laughing yet?- Nightshade-7 grams, and CA Hash plant-5 f'in grams.Bottom line people-I've exhausted this ****-THOROUGHLY- and now I can say I truly know leds are total and complete bullshit.2 pics-same strain and conditions(blueberry pic 1 hps grown/ pic 2 blueberry led grown.Need I say more?Sorry folks, no way-no day.But I gave er my best shot.Traded my leds for some dank-best bud I ever got out of these things.Aint the truth a beautiful thing?BTW-that hps bud was done with 150w hps and 52 w cfl, and this 180 is supposed to replace 600w hps.Your man in the field signing off-ps DONT BUY LEDS!!

use this thread as a lesson to all these prospective young growers that are looking into leds thinking its an easy way out.There is no easy way out, we all know that.It takes research, dedication, and perspiration.Heres the scoop tho-90w ufo-35-40 grams with alot of luck-this would be on the very high end of the scale.Average is 20 grams.Tho nobody will admit-ask most people with a 90w ufo-they'll claim an OZ per plant.Meanwhile most of them dont have a scale yet.And boy are they loyal to the almighty UFO.But if I get 5 grams from a plant under a 180w ufo, and over an OZ from a tiny 200w hps/cfl set-up, then what does that tell us about the true efficiency of these sham wows of the growlight industry?180 = 600 huh?These people have brass ones I tell ya.

One more thing-if you cant vent the heat from 150w hps or 250w cfl-both will knock the **** out of led-it's probably not worth your time, if you've got a habit like mine.If you can stretch an ounce out for 2 months the ufo might help you out, wont do **** for me-and probably not for most of you.

It's the tale of the scale-always ask for scale pics-these led buds have no density-zero.Hey, experience is the best teacher tho-we all had high hopes once.These are pretty too huh-tumblee tumbleweed-looks good tho
