Fellow Horticulturists,

We had an electrical problem and my crop, timers and such got 'out of whack'.
I noticed that the bloom light was on 4 hours after it should have been off.
My own fault, so I fixed the timer, hoping for the best but wondering what disaster would become of my crop.

The crop had about three weeks till harvest and I knew the buds would be smaller by 25%.
But I hoped the crop would be worth saving.
The tricombs are turning opaque, the leaves are yellowing and dieing.
The trics are as good as ever.
Can it be the crop has recovered?
Lets wait and see?

I think these plants are pretty resilient and they want to make buds...Well, they actually want to make seeds but we don’t...I’m guessing they will be ok...

Did your timer add hours? If not just changing the 12-12 cycle to a period 4 hours later didn't even phase 'em. Grow on and smile.

St_Nick,

I didn't understand the implications of your post till just now.
The timer gave them 12 hours dark, but 4 hours later than usual, for one day.
Then back to 12 hours dark, at the right time.
So, what you are saying is that as long as they get 12 hours of dark it is alright?
This goes against everything I have learned, but if it is true it is incredible.
Maybe for one day, one time, won't hurt them.

They all look fine now. I guess I lucked out this time.

Thanks

Hi Poet, so nice to see you. I bet your plants will be just fine, one little mess up and they will forgive you. I promise.

I appreciate your concern but fortunately if our little plant was that sensitive none of us could grow it

The crop, 'Oregon Grown Og', was harvested today.
From the looks of them, they should be, once dry over an ounce each.
9 plants and 10-11 ounces, not bad. Thats the best I've ever done.
The buds are beautiful, big and frosty.

God is great Sabu...
