hi im new to this and i need some advice.
ive been growing my babies with a NVC 22 WATT (energy saving ) 150w (chinese brand) and a 60 watt normal bulb (yellow bright)...


is this any good?

the yelow one is 640 lm. and for the nvc is 6400k i dont nu the lumen cos the box is made in china so so.. hehe
 
I'd dump the 60 watt and the 22 watt as they are probably
a waste. Is the 150 watt a CFL? And is it a 6500 k bulb?
That is what you want for veg cycle. You're best bet is to
get a 400 watt switchable ballast and a "wing" style reflector.
A set up like that will set you back about $300. That would
include the Electronic ballast,hood, and both bulbs. That's
top dollar retail price too, you could find it for much less on
Ebay. Seeds Ect at Ebay stores has killer deals, and I know
for a fact the guy is "cool" ;)

I use a 1000w hps and in veg is a 400w mh...plus I have 2(in each room) 4ft t5's...and my girls are looking good
