Anybody using a cheap USB microscope off ebay?

I picked up one of these microscopes and I'm not thrilled with the performance. I think the windows7 driver it's using may be part of the problem. It just shows up as a webcam in my devices and some of the options in the software are greyed out. I can't zoom for example.



Anybody have any luck getting better results? Here's about the best I could do with the default driver and the software that came with the thing.

I don't have that one. Mine is a zOrb I got off amazon. It was pretty cheap at about $35. Have you tried coming in closer to the leaf. ? This is a pic I took with mine. It looks like mine sits about 3/4 inch away from the bud. Not a great pic but ya get the idea...
