Anyone Use Subculture B/M

Hello I'm running a DWC setup and my roots look small ,brown almost slimy and it locked up any nute intake. So a week ago I gave them Aussie Toxin and now they're growing new roots, I saved them in time.
My problem is the fluxuation in temp. of my res. and builds a bacteria that causes me problems later, I'm about to flip the light to flower in a week and I've read good stuff on line about SUBCULTURE B/M will it help build me some roots and will it diprive the plant of any other nutes. Some guys make a tea of some sort, how is this done? Any tips on Subcuture would be great.

The tea could have been your problem if the roots got icky. I never add anything to my res but nutes and never have problems with small and/or slimy roots.
