So if you google search marijuana forum as I did here http://www.google.com/search?q=marijuana+forum&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1 our forum is 2nd on the search results as you can see, now what determins how the search works?? and depending on that answer how can we be the top search result instead of hipforums.com

i think some site pay google to be on top and sites like ours are just there because we get a million hits a day. I think thats how it works anyways

I think its a mixture of how many repeat visitors and updated and new content. Google has the "sponsered" section. Thats the guys who pay for a listing on the front page. So I think thats the biggest part of it. content and visitors. IMHO
