i read through this great article on the Mexico and the drug cartels. it's a bit of a read, but i found it eye opening. Legalizing MJ would totally change the dynamic of how the cartels operate with MJ; allowing easier access would cut out the cartels from the picture. then Feds could focus on the damaging drugs. anyways--great read.
