"EC-Plus" thats what im thinking of getting, anyone know of any better formulas available? also, I am expermenting with beneficial indegenous organism (BIM), anyone in the midwest of US ever play around with this? i have a 2 nice cultures that are basically ready to be used, but am unsure of the good vs bad organisms. any ways to identify/ seperate good vs bad?

sure do. ceramic powder as well. always have some bokashi in a bag fermenting. i use it as a top dressing.

do you use that same "brand"? yea i heard the ceramic powder is good stuff. have u ever activated the EM with and w/o the cermaic powder to compare results? just curious as to if it is a "must have" or not. you feed them with blackstrap once in your medium? IF YES, u think once a week is sufficient at 1 tbl/gal? i cant believe im just now learning about EM lol, shows how much you miss when your out of the loop for awhile.

yes i use the same brand. no i've never done one batch with ceramic and one without. once em is activated, i add to molasses water that is ph adjusted with fulvic acid. but the aem has a low ph anyway. that how you know when it is ready.
