Its almost time for my scheduled feeding with Fox Farm nutes but I'm also having some serious Mg issues. Does anyone have any experience mixing foxfarm with epsom? I'm just worried it would be too much at once causing lock out or burn.

Best to give Mg on its own so it doesnt compete with the other NPK nutrients as they all share the same pathways so if you have a true MG def you want it to get in there and sort things.

What exactly are your Mg issues?

Classic Mg deficiency?

Any chance of a pic?

I would pst a pic but no camera (still waiting for circuit city to go lower on prices). And yes, standard MG def, new growth is light green/yellow in color, lower leaves are turing yellow along the veins and edges. I've been a bad parent :(

yeah i would give 2 tablespoons epsom with gallon of water and no other nutes. I put epsom in my water most times but just a tablespoon. I had mag def before and the epsom cleared it up and has been good ever since. Also you should add black strap mallassas at every other watering. Since i have been using these i have no real problems except the occassional fan leaf getting burned from laying on the dirt. dont remove any fan leaves as they will remove themselves, Your plant needs them. Keep it green.

Youll be fine.

2 tbsp per gallon.

Works alot better as a foliar spray though.

If you are having Cal/Mag issues and are NOT growing in coco (which actually takes Cal/Mag FROM the plant) I strongly advise you to check your PH, both soil AND water.

Most cases of micronutrient deficiancies are a result of High or Low ph.
