Good Strain for Central US

New to the game. Looking for suggestions as to a good strain for growing outdoors in Central US. Need a forgiving, easy-to-grow strain that has a high THC content and good yield.

Have had folks recommend Purple Power, Northern Lights X Big Bud & Skunk Red Hair. Not being famliar with any of these strains (thus far I have been a nondiscriminant consumer and not a producer) I can't really endorse or select any of the above.

Any and all help / suggestions would be appreciated.
