Harvest Time?

Harvest time question. I have White Widow, going on 9 weeks in flower. What does it mean when the fan leaves turn brown and dries out? Is this the plants reaction to reaching it's peak growth? Does it just stop growing after the buds are finished? Any input appriciated.

Its is normal for your fan leafs to die off towards the end of the flowering peroid. As far as when to harvest goes, checking the trichcromes is the best way to know when your plant is ready.
