Heat gun + Hookah = Vaporizer

One of my San Francisco cannabis buyers' clubs (back when they were still called that) forbade smoking but encouraged vaping. They had a vaporizer that was a glass bong with a long narrow bowl that fit a heat gun used to vaporize the THC off of the buds. I am thinking of doing this with my hookah, which has a glass bowl (not metal). At what temp do I set the heat gun to blow the hot air down through the bowl?

I don't know if this has any relevance or not. I start my Arizer Solo II at 350 degrees, then raise it to 390 degrees.
