how do i make a jpg. flie smaller

i'm trying to post a pic and its to big. its 1.5mb and it needs to be 193kb how do i compress it.

open the pic with photoshop, click on image, then image size.

save it as a jpg in photoshop, and you can downsize the filesize, have it at about 70% quality
