Need help wiring!!!

I wasn't sure where to post this, but since it's electrical I figured this forum would be the best one...
I just got a computer fan, and I need help wiring it. I read the DIY thread about wiring it, but the pictures on there are different than what I'm looking at right now; here is what I have. As you can see, there are 3 wires coming off the fan, which connect at the little plastic piece (2nd picture), and become 2 wires, which then goes to the end attachment which has another 4 wires on it (3rd picture).

Where do I cut them/splice them so I can hook this puppy up to an AC Adapter ??

You could always just cut it at the first plug and use the two that you need.

yeah that's what I'm doing right now lol. I'm much too impatient to wait for answers... I just searched the good old world wide web and found some different guides that were more helpful to me.

That didn't help me because I had so many wires to deal with.... but I ended up figuring it out on my own and got the fan working fine, so all is well on the Eastern front.
