How long into flowering before the sites start really looking like buds? Every day there are new white hairs to see, but I'm exited to see the full on glory of buds! I know there are differences in strains and such things as that, but is there a general guidline?

It's just according to the strain but I usually see buds forming around the 3rd week after the switch to 12/12

6/7 weeks jmo but it all strain some early some late
ozzy i think he mean pistil's dieing back and calyx starting to show (looking like bud) not a bunch of hair

Right now (12 days), there are about 6-8 pistils on the most crowded bud site. So I guess 2-3 more weeks to see a lot of hairs, then another 3 weeks or so for the pistils to recede and actual buds appear, give or take a bit due to strain differences, right?
