Hi guys, my plants are finishing up 3rd week. They slowed on grow a little so today I went and got some grow bags, a nice hid light and some superthrive for the transplant. I also got some PH strips because the store ran out of the probe one.

By the way guys the best store ever http://www.altgarden.com/ they have real stores all around the staes, great people great help!

Anyhow, I tested my waters PH i am using bottled water for my babies. The PH was 5-6.

Reason I am worried is because of darn spots on my plants.

I want to test my soils PH, but they are strips... should I dilute soil in water? Or will I need a real PH tester for this. I am hoping to resolve issue today.

Thanks!

If yer water PH is low, I can almost guarantee your soil PH is even lower.
Spend the $20 on a digital PH meter...it's worth it.

Yes, mix your soil with your water to get the PH reading.
6-6.8 is what you're aiming for.:)

Sweet done and done, soil + water PH is 5-6. Already ordered my nice PH meter from Brew and Grow. Should be here Tuesday!
