The Drug Enforcement Unit, Grand Bahama, assisted by The Drug Enforcement Agency U.S.A, acting on information received, went to a bushy area east of The Grobola Restaurant and Bar, Hunters, G.B. The officers found three (3) suspected marijuana fields 400 - 500 yards in bushes off the Grand Bahamian Way.

The first field 50 x 85, contained 300 plants, ranging from 2ft to 6ft tall. Officers are continuing their search in the area and are up-rooting the remaining plants.

Later there were an additional 600 suspected marijuana plants found, for a total of 900 plants. The estimated street value is $900,000.00.
