Hi all, have bin looking at some ways of gettin cool air in/ hot air out of a small closet veg room. I found these computer fans that im quite interested in (mainly because of the price and the fact they produce up to 87.6 CFM)

The problem is powering them..... im in the uk anyone know a safe and easy way to wire these up to a mains plug? i suck at electronics so any help would be much appreciated!!

Cheers

That fan is 12v, our electricity is 240v, you would need to reduce the power down to 12v to use that, have you looked for a 240v fan?

hi hippyinengland i found this one

kitkave.co.uk/hardware/fans/p2014/?affid=froogle

how would i go about wiring this then? also would you ac/dc adapter not reduce the power to 12V from the mains?? sorry if this is a dumb question!

IMO i would only wire 1 fan to adapter any more and the fan will not run at full power i learned this the hard way it sucks but if you want the fans to blow like they should
