stinky weed

ok im new to growing but i have succesfully grown about 5 plants but every time i cut them down, manicure them, and hang them up to dry they dont even smell like weed they stink its hard to explain, and when i started curing the smell just got stronger any suggestions?

When you say stinky do you mean like hay or something? How long are you hanging them for before placing in jars?

kinda like a hay smell but more of a sweet smell kinda leafy hard to explain it but i hung it out till it was dry which only took a week till the buds were nice and crispy been in a jar for about a week now

I think that's where you made your mistake. You should only hang them until the buds feel like a sponge. Not wet but not dry either. Then you start your curing. We burp the jars once a day for 20 minutes at a time. This is what we do and have great results everytime.
