in 1974, I had just come back from overseas, I wanted to take a long bath, smoke a doob and relax. I ran the water, lit the doobage, got in the tub and promptly fell asleep, only to be rudely awakened an hour or so later by the downstairs neighbors due to the overflow coming thru their ceiling. about $1500 in damage, but it cost me only 100$ for the insurance deductable, and the landlord installed a new smoke detector in the bathroom.
