I have a 2'x4' tent with 4 plants using a King 1500- Very nice so far. I have a 2'x2' I have a few clones in until I have room. How long have any of yous guys used a T5 for veg? It only consumes 96watts according to website. A 300W LED like a ViparSpectar, Mars.. burns 120'ish watts. For $60-$80 I am wondering if I will get much benefit?

I've never used a T5 but I just learned they make LED panels that install in the T5 fixture instead of tubes. No changes.
If I can find a T5 fixture for free I'm gonna go that route myself.

T5’s work well for me to veg with. I have only used the 4 ft long high output T5 fixtures/bulbs which are 50-something watts per bulb. I mix color temps. 10000 kelvin bulbs make happy dark green stocky plants but I like to have a 2700 kelvin in the fixture too for a broader spectrum.
