Trichrome appearance during slow cure?

Hello,

It appears that the appearance of trichromes changes somewhat over a slow cure. In particular, I've noticed that some of the clear trichs become somewhat milkier and that all trichromes seem to shrink somewhat and change shape slightly.

Is this normal?

Details:

• 3-4 days of air cure
• 4-5 days paper bag
• 3 + weeks in glass jars (opened more at the beginning, less toward the end)
• All curing in dark area

What's your experience?

it would make sense to me that as they dry the trich's will shrink and change shape due to the loss of moisture.

I don't know about the trichomes, but your method of curing sounds about right.
