Hi guys. I've got a horizontal fluorescent fixture in my loft, its 65w and is susupended from the roof by the cable which powers it. I want to replace the fixture with one which allows for multiple bulbs. Is this just a case of
1.Disconnecting the power supply and finding a way to dismantle the original fixture from the power cable.
2. Taking the power cable and splitting the three wires (earth, neutral and live) to the corresponding terminals in the new fixtures junction circuit box.
Or am I completely off the mark here? Any help would be appreciated.
