Yet another pre-employment drug test question

Here's my deal. I'm 5'4" tall and weigh 140 pounds. I had been a daily smoker until August 1, of this year. For three weeks I didn't smoke one bit, and then broke down and smoked one hit a night for about 5 nights. The occasionally I'd have a hit here and there.

Well, last week, specifically Thursday through Friday, I smoked one bowl. I'd just take hits off it, so maybe 5-6 hits in all.

I have a pre-employment drug test with the state this upcoming Monday (the 26th). I already drink quite a bit of water and then coffee in the mornings. That's about it, rarely any pop, gatorade, etc. I'm somewhat active, but haven't been as of late.

Do I drink a bunch of water on the 26th, taken with a B complex vitamin? Do I try the at home test kit? The Cystex???

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just took one two weeks ago after smoking 3 joints and about 10 bong fulls of some dank bud and passed 2 days later after useing the Gatoraid techniqe... it worked like gold for me, you mightt wanna check it out in the sticky's..... just my thoughts man

Wow, you did so good for not smoking 3 weeks. It would have been a piece of cake to pass that test had you continued on.

I wish you luck, but not smoking is really the only sure fire way to pass.

The ones you mention may very well work, but they may not as well.

Report in with whatever method you choose and let us know the results. I hope you get the job. :)
 
Ever considered synthetic urine? I got mine on ebay but I'm told you can find it in some head shops. .... havn't used it yet but it's got a decent shelf life. You pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds and then it goes into a temp controled sleeve good for 8 hrs.... need to put it in a stealth location.

Good luck to ya. Let us know. I am curious how it works out for ya. Thank God I dont ever have to take one of those test again. I used to drive Tractor Trailers and we had to take DOT test. Believe it or not, I used to drink two gallons of water to take those test. I dont know if you know or not but its really hard to drink two gallons of water. You will have to pee (and number 2) a bunch of times before and after your test time. I think they know now if you are doing the water thing. I dunno any more.
 
So, typically how long does it take to get results back from a UA that was done on Monday at noon?
 
I smoked some purps last night and passed a DT this morning.I took two azo yesterday and some vitamin b and aspirin.Today aspirin B again sure jell and a ton of water.
 
That's crazy that you could smoke heady at night and then pass a drug test with not that much action. I was once smoked 10 hours before a drug test, but I had a powerful detox drink on me.
 
hey i've got a question for people who live in a medical cannabis state...
can a employer test a potential employee for cannabis if the potential employee is a MMJ card holder?

wouldn't a drug test discriminate against a medical patents rights?
 
I suggest working out a butt load! It works. Drink lots of fluids as well but that always a given.
 
yessir, i'm from the originator of medicinal pot, KILLA CAIFORN-I-A..... and yessir, if our employers so choose to drug test, even though we are medicinally legal, it all boils down to company poilicy. That company is testing you to detect if anything is in your system FOR A REASON. if they dont want anyone with ANY DRUG in their business operations, they, as the company are fully capable of discriminating based on such results. SUCKS MAN, but if your state is legal for medicinals, what are you doing working anyways?!?!?!?! start growing for the medicinal dispensaries and be your own boss, or hell, open our own dispensary for that matter. I SWORE I WOULD NEVER PISS IN A CUP FOR ANONE EVER AGAIN. I WILL BE JUDGED BY MY QUALIT OF WORK, NOT MY QUALITY OF PISS.

No, they go more by the federal end of things rather than recognizing state law, at least here in Oregon. If you pee dirty, even with a card, you will in most cases be denied employment.
Now, you can also get a script for Marinol in Oregon which is FDA approved and supposedly will give you a leg to stand on as far as failing drug tests. Since tests can't tell the difference between Marinol and THC, it just might work out in a patients favor. I guess it would be up to the employer to make the call, but if you were barred from employment after failing for Marinol with a script, you might just have a case.

I am a H.R.T.M major so this is what i was taught this semester. It all boils down to where the company is located. If it is a franchise restaurant/hotel/casino and say we are talking about McDonald's here in New Mexico. Even though we are able by law to smoke and grow in New Mexico, McDonald's corporate offices are located in Oak Brook, IL. So there rules and policies would be built around the state law of Illinois. You say its legal in New Mexico and try to sue, you just get slapped with the federal law prohibiting the use of MMJ. Every individual franchise must abide by all rules an regs sett forth in a franchising agreement contract.

But if its a in state ran company, and that state says MMJ is legal well they must fallow state law. they can't call in federal law in order to set policies. they must conform to the state. States govern them self's. Federal law enforcement are the only ones that can enforce Federal laws in a state. No one else. It can get a little hazy in the laws regrading state and local county/city governments as they get get money from the federal government. but as for private they must abide by state laws.



This is where it gets kinda fuzzy with the laws try to stay with me. Under the ADA(Americans with Disability's Act) you can be protected with in state law.(explain why a federal act falls understate law at the bottom) But your condition for smoking must be on your states treatable illness list for MMJ and the ADA list for disability's. California has led the way buy adding conditions to there own state ADA list.

this law gets very long detailed and i just finished the class and don't want to wright the whole law. I am on winter brake an chilling happy because i got a 4.0 this semester!! yeah baby!!! so my advice to any one is if they get fired to do your home work and see what can help you out. the ADA can help out a lot of you with that for sure.


The reason why the ADA federal act falls under state law is that its just that, an ACT, witch orders the states to create laws to conform to the act. once that is over the states govern the laws, not the federal government. the great thing is that states can add on to this law. but can not fall below federal guidelines. This is what called a gray area. Federal laws can not affect laws set forth by a state under a Federal ACT. its confusing i know. but their is all ways a loop hole for us in MMJ states if you look and read.
 
Hey to end all of the back and forth If your having an pre-employment drug test use vinegar. Forget spending alot at GNC just use vinegar. It works, Ive used it recently drinking about a half a cup the night b4 and then a tablespoon the day of. I made sure I drank about eight cups of water and it was Great ! Ive passed and everyone I know that has tried it passed 100%:)
