yes, a 1k will do well in a 6x6x6' area. the spread is good for about a 5x5, which gives you some border room.

ok, other things i have are grommets and 1/2'' vinyl hose :D so, with a lil electrical tape, a 1'' sleeve of 1/2 tubing over the 1/4'' line will hold a grommet that is slightly larger than the mister head. we're in biz :D my pipes were too long, and i'm worn out after the third cut (hacksaw :(...
