Why would I kill my plants?!?

Does anybody else find this product hard to use? My reservoir is about 5.5-5.6 but keeps droping. When I add PH up I'll be lucky to get it back to 5.6-5.8. I'm just adding plain water just to bring up the PH. Any thoughts?

Start your seedlings in rockwool cubes that are NOT in the ebb and flow system. Just put them on a tray or something. Dirt, haha nasty stuff. Plus can you leave your system alone for a week and not have your plants die?
