Banana sapphire
Heavy feeders. Explosive growth. I have to raise the light every day.

Day 34
Packing on the buds. Doing a full strip next Saturday. The blueberry muffins are insanely smelling exactly like blueberries. Banana sapphire stretches past the light. Blueberry side is frostier but banana side will probably yeild double. It's colas are about 24 inches long and stacked.

@boo made a visit to the garden yesterday, reminded me to post lol
Day 43
Chopping at day 60 I'm guessing. The banana sapphire size does not disappoint. The biggest cola is about the size of a 2 liter bottle. Every branch of every plant but one is stacked with bulbous baseball bat colas. I grew this one thinking I might breed it with some mystery maid pollen I had, but it will wait until I run out the rest of my seeds. This one is not the frostiest strain but makes up for it in girth. This strain in a 4x4 could no doubt yeild 3lbs. Outside this is said to be a 15 foot plant, the biggest yields I've heard of were 20lb on a 12 foot tall plant. I believe them based on these colas.

blueberry muffins are not as fat but are girthing up here and there, where it does excellent is in aroma.....sweet, syrup, muffin, blueberry in that order. They are frosty as can be. Crossing these two plants would be interesting. Some will be ready by day 55 or so, but I'm chopping all at day 60.

The banana sapphire is chunky and super heavy. I had to take down two plants early, about 10 days ago and ended up with 536 grams. Smells like my blue og from 2 grows ago, orange peel skunk. Smoke is nice and relaxing with a good amount of cerebral high.

Well after about 2 weeks maybe less, we are sitting in grove bags hoping steady at 62pct. The final weight was 2327 grams, a little over 82oz. So we averaged less that 7 oz per plant. Not too shabby.
Blueberry muffins is the best of the two. The muffins smell and flavor is absolutely there. The flowers are not the most dense I've grown, but maybe the most unique tasting. The high is a mix of euphoria and relaxation that is just so nice. They were frosted and an easy trim job due to not being very leafy. If I hadn't had a screen net in there I would've been able to do a better job of pruning during flower. So I ended up with a bit of small buds as well as those big tops. I had 6 seed and all were the same pheno. Purple flakes and bright orange pistils on top of frosted nugs that smell like a blueberry muffin. If I had to recommend a strain to a first time grower, blueberry muffins by humbolt seed Co is my pick.
Banana sapphire is a heavyweight producer. I had 2 phenos out of 6 plants. One pheno made the largest colas I have ever grown without catching budrot. The other grew long baseball bat sized colas and was a bit frostier. They don't smell like banana, but do smell like orangepeels and kerosene but in a perfume-ish kind of way. The flavor of the smoke is citrus, and maybe a little black pepper and licorice. The high is a typical og lineage stone. That kind where you drift off daydreaming for a bit then realize you've been sitting there for an hour. Good quality buds, heavy, dark green with light orange pistils that smell like orange peels blended with kerosene.
