I took clones off of my plants before they really started blooming. I have a clone machine and have changed the water every couple of days. I put in the water, superthrive (1 teaspoon in 1 1/2 gal of water) and used Olivia's cloning gel as soon as I cut. 5 weeks and all died, no growth. I have 1 remaining with 2 little green leaves and about 10 little roots. I want to clone more except I don't want to kill anymore. I lost all my variate plants and only have 1 mother left. The only thing I can think is wrong is that my water has a PH of 7.0. I know that hydroponics require 5.5 ish but have no meter to test water. Please help, I need to get more going.

Current grow, 1st grow

well... I've never used one of those cloner machines myself (old school), but, I do know you definitely need to get yourself a ph tester and some ph up and/or ph down. mj is finiky that way

maybe you are getting air bubbles when you are cutting your clones. try to cut the clone from the mother plant at a 45 degree angle then cut the clone's stem again at a 45 degree angle under water...

definitly get some ph up and down...and a good meter

hope this helps.

Can't help ya, man- My cloning rate over the years is around 2% or less. Only luck I had was AK48 (Ice x Jock H) in rapid rooters.

what is all over your roots and stem? It looks like they are rotting and suffocating. i would get some H2O2 because it looks like your system is infected. Also you need to get a ph meter, it is very important, because there is no soil to buffer the ph of the water and nutrient solution.

Are you feeding these plants anything after they root? Is that a cloning machine or is that an aeroponic system, cause if it is just a cloning machine then you need to transplant the living into your choosen medium and feed them.

many kind I have tried, all the ones that are budding

That's the cloning gel left over from when I started

hm.. "if".. I recall correctly, "Supa'jive" mucked with my ph...
as you've been advised, try iit without all the 'bells 'n whistles'. .just straight ph'd tap water
