getting ready to do my first hydro grow with dwc 4 or 5 gallon buckets that have the water level indicators on the side. The rubber gromits leak pretty bad. is there any way to fix this? Also, I have 5 inch nets on lids, when i put my little germination in there, how full do I fill it?

for the gromits i would use epoxy on the outside only, and for this one im not sure but i kinda think the water and air like a liquid growth medium alone with you pot filler, im gonna try something simple and soft like the sure t grow stuff, so i think as long as the actual medium is not covered you should be fine i have heard somewhere fill to and inch from the lid.
