fan leafs?

so ive been looking at some peoples plants here and i notice the main cola is tall, almost a foot or more on some...and there are no large fan leaves on them....my cola would look the same if i trimmed the very large fan leaves of but i KNOW thats a bad idea....are these plants just different strains or are you guys trimming off the big leaves?

Its the first time out paths have crossed but ive seen your comments.

Imagine the Cannabis family as Continents.

1 Continent grows its population with pale skin, others brown, some with a yellow tint.

Also some Continents grow people big and tall, some small and wide. some no taller than 20 inches.

Cannabis is exactly like that, your answer is they simply come from different strains of the same species.

Also remember the pics we see are "wet" colas..they loose a lot of weight when they dry..dissapointing but nature of the beast Plus the camera has a habit of making them look bigger too. LOL
