So I was wondering, I have heard you can tell when to start flowering your MJ plant by seeing the alternating nodes on the stem? May be a dumb question...could someone possibly post a pic as an example or something or elaborate? All is appreciated, thanx.

I think I understand now. Is it when a third branch branches off where the two branches meet?

Correction. After further examination i think i have it. Is it where one of the branches is branching off just above the other...Where the stem almost looks a little slanted??

That's right. :)
Instead of the nodes being at the same height, one is higher than the other.

Apparently this is an indication that the plant is 'sexually mature', and can start flowering.

Lots of growers here turn their lights 12on/12off before they see any alternating nodes, though.

Thanx Bubby! It took me a while I kinda was just like huh:huh:..lol

Mutt, was you extremely drunk when you typed that post?
